Tron Days Robot
Sept 2018
Tron Days was hackathon-style challenge that took place over a period of two days. The task was to build a robot using TETRIX parts to pick up various small objects and put them in the right places on a pegboard. In my team of 4, I built and designed the main frame and the configuration of the pneumatic actuator controlling the movement of the arm.
Hammerhead Shark
Nov 2018
I designed a phone stand modelled after the shape of a hammerhead shark. Using SolidWorks, I built a 3D model and prepared it for 3D printing using GrabCAD. I iterated the shape after my initial design until it would be efficient to 3D print and well-balanced with a low centre of mass (as indicated on the model).

Vending Machine
Nov 2018
I built a vending machine using TETRIX robotics parts and programmed it in C++/RobotC on a LEGO EV3. The system prompts the user to make a selection, waits for the user to insert the correct amount of change, and then dispenses the appropriate snack via a conveyor belt. It features the capability to distinguish between two differently sized coins (dimes and quarters) when adding up the money inserted.
